সিরাজগঞ্জের বেলকুচিতে পিতা পুত্রকে কুপিয়ে হত্যা করেছে দূর্বত্তরা। মঙ্গলবার সন্ধ্যায় বেলকুচি উপজেলা রাজাপুর ইউনিয়নের চর কোনাবাড়ি গ্রামে এই ঘটনা ঘটেছে।
স্থানীয়সূত্রে জানাযায়, উপজেলার রাজাপুর ইউনিয়নের অধীনস্থ চরকোনা বাড়ি সিকদার পাড়া গ্রামের মৃত আহেছ সিকদারের ছেলে সেরাজ সিকদার (৪০) ও তার ছেলে সাইদী সিকদার (১৮) একটি মটর সাইকেল করে বান্ধুনী বাড়ি বাজার থেকে বাড়ির ফিরছিল। পথিমধ্যে যমুনা নদীর শাখা পার হলে দূর্বত্তরা তাদের কুপিয়ে হত্যা করে পালিয়ে যায়।
এবিষয়ে বেলকুচি থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা গোলাম মোস্তফা জানান, আমরা হত্যাকান্ডের খবর পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থল এসেছি। লাশ উদ্ধারের পক্রিয়া চলছে। প্রয়োজনীয় আইনগত ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে।
